It's the Little Differences: Garbage Day
Waste collection is privately run in SF which means that "garbage day" is different for everyone. The entire street is never full of garbage!

I am NYC garbage collector...that sounds confusing. Here we work different areas 3x/week.
To be honest, the work can be tough, but also fun at times...you ever see the trash men working? Had a woman on Monday who was totally mesmorized seeing her old couch, tv and bags go in to the truck up close.
