Moving can be such a PITA... hopefully the interview goes smoothly, and you can find a decent company to move your belongings.
When are you aiming to leave for the US?
May 1st
:-O
We're only looking into big companies with experience moving between Canada and the US. Stressful stuff I tell ya!
That thing about being in the US before the moving truck, is a myth. That's what my sister was told also when she moved to Hawaii. They didn't have to be.
Anyway, sounds like things are progressing. And Holy Heck May 1st is coming up fast.
What's the scoop about that rule? That's what the moving company told us... Can we do anyting?
Here's the scoop on the moving thing. My sister said as long as you have vacated your house, then that's good enough. They had vacated their house and therefore did not have a Canadian address anymore. The moving truck left their house two weeks before they actually went to the US. (it had to it takes a bloody long time to ship stuff to LA and then to Hawaii)
Nice Ticker :p
Hehe. I know, I am tacky.
:-O
Did I just use the T word?!?
