Bangkok and River Kwai, Thailand

Our tour started in Bangkok, Thailand. Here's our similar itinerary for future reference.



We only spent half a day in Bangkok and visited the major sites. I definitely would like to go back some day (when garbage cans don't have a tendency to blow up).

In the afternoon, we drove to River Kwai (near the Myanmar border). You might recall the movie "The Bridge on the River Kwai". We spent 2 nights in bamboo raft houses floating on the river.

We did an elephant ride. We should get our pictures soon.
